Derb Ghallef is located in the Maârif neighborhood and for tourists, the souk is something to witness the real Casablanca more than a place to shop.

The souk is a busy commercial zone of new and secondhand products such as electronics, furniture, clothing, multimedia. The souk is full of Bargain hunters looking for laptops, phones, and other gadgets.

Inside the souk, you may notice plenty of street vendors and small restaurants serving mint tea, many kinds of fruit juices, sandwiches, seafood, and tagines.

Personally, when I need a complex repair or any special electronic part for my phone, for example, Derb Ghallef is my preferred place to go to.
